{"id":23,"date":"2016-01-25T22:36:19","date_gmt":"2016-01-25T22:36:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dmcccorp.org\/homeless\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2016-01-25T22:40:58","modified_gmt":"2016-01-25T22:40:58","slug":"certifications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.dmcccorp.org\/homeless\/certifications\/","title":{"rendered":"Certifications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>HUD Approved Multi-State Organization<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>DMCC is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide comprehensive housing counseling to residents of Florida and New York, including pre-purchase counseling and homebuyer education, non-delinquency post purchase counseling, mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling, financial literacy, educational workshops, reverse mortgage counseling, and service for the homeless.<\/p>\n<p>All housing counseling programs include free assistance with implementing affordable repayment plans for federal student loans and Florida payday loans. Counseling services are provided by certified counselors employed by DMCC, and are available in English, Spanish and Creole.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling have drawn upon a variety of sources, including existing standards used by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and local, regional, and national housing counseling organizations.
