Homeless Initiative Donations

The DMCC Homeless Initiative funds its Substance Abuse Housing Scholarship Program through charitable donations. DMCC is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Accordingly, donations to DMCC are considered to be tax deductible contributions.

The Substance Abuse Housing Scholarship Program is structured to pay 90% of all funds contributed directly to the sober living home where participants reside to cover the cost of housing and transportation during their first 90 days. The remaining 10% of contributions are used to pay the costs of other program related expenses, such as educational seminars and online courses.

Donations to the Substance Abuse Housing Scholarship Program may be made by credit or debit card through PayPal, or by mailing a check payable to the DMCC Homeless Initiative at 3310 N. Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064.
