not only provides quality debt management and credit counseling
for our clients, but also educates the general public on financial,
credit and debt issues in order to promote healthy financial habits.
We provide a variety of free services and information to the public.
Seminars and educational materials are available in English and
Spanish.
Financial
Literacy Program:
DMCC offers its Financial Literacy Program free of charge
to high school and college teachers that want to incorporate it
as part of their regular economics lesson. Students can take the
course on the Internet or with a workbook. DMCC then provides
the teacher with a list of students' scores and progress.
If
you are a teacher or administrator, and would like for your class
to gain valuable financial skills through DMCC's free Financial
Literacy Program, please e-mail Jason Athas at jason@dmcconline.org.
