DMCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that provides free financial counseling and education to individuals and families across the United States. Our mission is to provide consumers the knowledge they need to successfully reach their financial goals.  To fulfill our mission, we have created a collection of educational materials which people use as a resource for their common fiscal questions. Samples of these materials are available on our website under the Education category. We have also created and produced other materials, such as our proprietary financial literacy program Debt, Money & Credit Concepts, which are taught in schools, community centers and businesses where we present free educational seminars. Since our inception, we have provided free educational seminars to an estimated 36,000 high school students and consumers.

Unlike many credit counseling agencies, all of our educational materials and seminars are written and produced by DMCC employees, and not purchased or outsourced from third party providers. We are also very proud of the fact that all of our educational materials and seminars have always been provided free of charge.
