The National Association of Certified Credit Counselors is
an independent credentialing body recognized by the debt management
industry as well as states and creditors requiring certification.
NACCC delivers optimum education and training opportunities
to those working in debt management. Their programs serve to
increase the day-to-day effectiveness of credit counselors and
to enhance the growth and recognition of professionalism in
the industry
The NACCC mission is to facilitate the credit counseling industry
in maintaining standards and ethics by identifying, disseminating,
and delivering the counseling skills and financial knowledge
necessary for optimum credit counseling. The certification process
ensures that organizations in the debt management industry employ
qualified counselors. Obtaining counselor certification through
NACCC ensures that our credit counselors have the competencies
to excel.

Association of Debt Management Organizations
The
American Association of Debt Management Organizations (AADMO)
is the national trade association formed to provide education,
training and support services to the credit counseling and debt
management industry.
AADMO members are debt management organizations, consumer counselors,
personal finance educators, credit and debt information publishers,
debt pooling organizations, debt negotiators, debt adjusters,
credit counselors, consumer lawyers, and many others.
