Our
website contains a host of educational materials and links that are accessible for
free to anyone with internet access. The organization publishes
a comprehensive educational booklet that is supplemented by
quarterly newsletters and mailed to our clients. DMCC staff
completes an intensive quality training program and undergoes
ongoing quality training to enable them to educate clients with
respect to matters that are particular to the individual.
DMCC
requires counselors to undergo a comprehensive certification
process. Our counselors receive in-house training and are trained
and certified by the National Association of Certified Credit
Counselors (NACCC). Our Client Services Support Staff also is
required to pass a comprehensive in-house training program before
being allowed to serve our clients. Additionally, members of
the support staff are trained and certified by the NACCC. Guest speakers are provided to area schools to address students
on the responsible management of money, credit, budgeting and
financial stability.
As
a non profit debt consolidation organization, DMCC creates quality
debt management plans for individuals in need of assistance
with budgeting and managing their debt. In addition, DMCC provides
quality customer service and administers clients' payment plans
and accounts. Our customer service representatives are available
to assist clients with requested information and concerns. Our
automated voice response system is available to both clients
and creditors 7 days a week, enabling them to access account
information. Payment histories, proposal letters, ACH forms,
payment coupons and the like are available through an agent
or by using the automated system.
